Most quit apps fall into one of two traps: they either gamify your recovery into meaningless streaks and fake badges, or they shame you every time you stumble. Both make the next honest day harder, not easier.
We built Quitora around a simpler belief: recovery is a thousand small, unglamorous decisions. Your job is to show up for more of them. Our job is to make the hardest fifteen minutes a little easier than they were yesterday.
What we actually believe
- Relapse isn't failure — it's information. Our check-in, SOS flow, and summaries are all designed to make tomorrow's decision better, not to punish today's.
- Your recovery data is yours. No advertising, no selling, no cross-device fingerprinting. Delete anytime and it's actually deleted.
- AI only where it earns its seat. The coach, wisdom quotes, and weekly summaries use AI because they need to be personal. Everything else is plain, predictable logic you can reason about.
- Tools that work mid-urge, not between urges. Most apps optimize for the calm morning journaling moment. We optimize for 9:43pm when the craving hits.
Who this is for
